Nm Daleck Kateina (2026)

This Czech-language novel follows Markta, who leads a seemingly calm and orderly life until a new app called NEM spreads among the public. Through it, an intimate video featuring Markta is released, although she has no idea it exists. Her search for the video’s origin draws her into events that uncover long-forgotten secrets, strain her closest relationships and force her to ask uncomfortable questions. Can her marriage withstand the shock, and will her career as a teacher survive the scandal? Against the backdrop of Markta’s story, the novel presents an unsettling portrait of a modern world in which artificial intelligence is increasingly part of everyday life and online erotica balances between the promise of quick success and social ruin. Nm is a tense story about intimacy, trust and how easily even the most orderly life can collapse under the pressure of the emerging digital world.
