Netop due Wall Alex (2026)

As he approaches his fiftieth birthday, social novelist Daniel Rys finally finds a partner who almost perfectly matches his ideal. Alice is young, attractive, intelligent and, unlike most of his former loves, single. Like Dan, she rides a motorcycle, and she spends her nights translating from English. He sees her minor intimacies as more of a bonus than an obstacle, little suspecting what they foreshadow. As he handles these problems with all the subtlety of an elephant in a china shop, he gradually loses the certainties he expected from the relationship. And when it seems things cannot get any worse, Dans next upheaval threatens to destroy almost everything he still cares about. The contents are in Czech.
