Neotvrat!!! Koue! Habersack Charlotte (2019)

Almost nothing ever happens in Horn Suchopr, and Nemo thinks life in the town is one big bore. Then a strange package arrives, clearly marked Do Not Open! Nemo opens it anyway, and three things happen: a plush figure jumps out, a rather plump Yeti knight named Icy-Ice-Monsta who seems to be alive; snow begins falling in the middle of summer; and the Yeti grows to a height of two and a half metres. As the town slowly disappears beneath snow and ice, Nemo starts to worry about how to hide such a creature. Together with his friends Bda and Otka, he must do everything he can to deal with the situation. This Czech-language story of three friends and a giant Yeti combines suspense, adventure and humour, with a race against time that can entertain adults too, perhaps when reading aloud at bedtime.
