This Czech-language book explores heaven, fear, dreaming, and the investigation of things and phenomena. Its central idea rests on a Czech pun: the words for heaven with care and danger sound almost alike when heard rather than seen in writing. Their distinction depends on speed, fluency, emphasis, context, the refinement of ones hearing, surrounding noise, and the depth of inner silence. The more deeply we are immersed in silence, the more clearly the difference emerges, while an abundance of sensory impressions can make the two words merge into one.
