Nebe nezn vyvolench Remarque Erich Maria (2026)

In a small sanatorium high in the Swiss mountains, chance brings together two people confronted by death: Lillian, a fragile, beautiful girl with an incurable illness, and Clerfayt, an ageing racing driver who has come to visit a friend. Lillian rejects the slow death imposed by strict medical supervision, accepts Clerfayts offer, and, deaf to the warnings of doctors and friends, leaves the sanatorium with her new acquaintance for Paris. The love that develops between Lillian and Clerfayt has neither past nor future; it is a love measured by time, from one race to the next, from one bout of coughing up blood to another. Their initially casual relationship suddenly becomes complicated.
