Nachtgestalten Rudi Jaroslav (2021)

This German-language book follows one night, one city and two friends who know that nothing is greater than the truth of the moment when the pub closes. Moving from beer to beer and from one story to the next, the two nocturnal figures speak with sharp intelligence and subversive wit about the tragedy of love, the madness of life and the traces of history that lie beneath everything and never entirely disappear.
