Msc na hladin Yambao Samantha Sotto (2026)

This Czech-language fantasy novel is set in a hidden pawnshop in one of Tokyos back streets, a place most people see only as a cosy ramen restaurant. Those who have lost their way in life can leave behind their choices and deepest regrets there. Hana Ishikawa, the shops new owner, discovers on her first morning that the business has been ransacked and her father has disappeared. Then a charming stranger arrives, unlike the other customers: he is not looking for help, but offering it. Together, Hana and her new ally embark on a dangerous journey through a mystical world, leaping through rain puddles, crossing a bridge between midnight and dawn, and climbing to a market in the clouds. To find Hanas father and save the pawnshop, however, Hana must reveal a closely guarded secret and risk making a choice she can never take back.
