This Czech-language magical story is intended for readers who enjoy Hayao Miyazaki and The Tea Dragon Society. Long ago, the Moon Soul gave the inhabitants of a nocturnal village magical moths. Protecting them is a great responsibility, because without the lantern light of the moth mages, the moths cannot find their way back to the village and would return to their home among the stars. The rare Nightflower, the source of magic for the entire community, would then never bloom again. When Anka finally becomes a moth mage, she is delighted to be useful and repay her friends. But what if the vocation is not exactly what she imagined? And how is everything connected with the legend of an unhappy apparition wandering through the desert? This story of magic, friendship and hope shows that learning to ask for help is important, and that finding faith in oneself and ones own strength means confronting what one fears most. For children aged eight and over.
