Moje mnoh lta Rubinstein Artur (2003)

Following the success of his memoir My Young Years, which remained on the US bestseller list for three months and was published in Germany, Japan, Israel, Finland, Yugoslavia and Poland, Artur Rubinstein continued his life story at the urging of the public. This second volume covers the period after the Second World War, when the great pianist divided his life between Europe and the United States and gave at least one hundred concerts a year. He received an honorary doctorate from Yale University in the presence of President Kennedy and encountered not only musicians from around the world, but also many other fascinating people, including Pablo Picasso and Jan Masaryk.
