Miminka – Prvn ernobl knka pro miminko (2019)

This Czech-language concertina board book is an ideal first book for a baby. It is sized for little hands, has rounded edges and sturdy pages that withstand less careful handling. Images of babies in different situations are adapted to young children and can be looked at again and again. The black-and-white pictures with gentle touches of colour are considered more suitable for early visual development than brightly coloured images. Babies can practise turning the sturdy pages, helping to develop fine motor skills and finger coordination, while looking at babies who play, feel hungry, hide or sleep.
