Midnight Sun Nesbo Jo (2016)

This English-language thriller follows Jon, who is on the run after betraying Oslos biggest crime lord, the Fisherman. Fleeing to an isolated mountain town in northern Norway, where the sun never sets, Jon hopes to find sanctuary among a local religious sect. Hiding in a shepherds cabin in the wilderness, he relies on Lea, a bereaved mother, and her young son Knut. Lea provides him with a rifle and Knut brings essential supplies, but the midnight sun is slowly driving Jon to insanity. Then Jon discovers that the Fishermans men are drawing closer.
