Me a Koruna: as zrady Ebertov Sabine (2019)

This Czech-language historical novel is the third volume of a sweeping epic about Barbarossa. The author presents this important historical figure in all his complexity: charismatic and determined, yet merciless toward his enemies, while recounting Fridrichs rise to the imperial throne. The story also brings to life the destinies of the women of the period, who, despite their unequal position in society, strive to make their way in the world or at least preserve their dignity.
