Mathematics 4 – I Count and Reason (Textbook)

This Czech-language mathematics textbook encourages fourth-grade pupils to think about the problems presented to them when carrying out numerical calculations and solving word problems, and to express their methods precisely. Much of the material is learned through themes from everyday life, with links to other subjects also included. The textbook is double-sided. Its second section, Geometry Around Us, summarises the basic geometry curriculum for the fourth grade and presents it mainly through numerous pictures and diagrams. An overview card is inserted in the textbook.
