This Czech-language mathematics textbook is the first volume of a comprehensive series and contains numerous clear illustrative pictures, graphs and tables. It explains methods for solving mathematical problems as well as practical applications of the skills learned. Many examples are based on mathematical olympiads, the international Kangaroo mathematics competition and similar events.
