Mandarnsk sre – Detektivka s nevedn zpletkou (2026)

Writer of fairy tales and easy-going stories Vlastimil Peka also turns to detective fiction in this Czech-language novel. A mandarn hornet plays a central role in an unusual mystery that takes readers to the distant Japanese Alps, a village near st nad Orlic, a Roma settlement beyond the Slovak border and finally Bratislava, where police recover the missing dead man from the waters of the Danube. Humour, closely associated with Pekas writing, accompanies the engaging investigation throughout.
