When Katherine inherits a small house from her aunt in the Irish village of Howth, she does not realise that the local library is part of her inheritance. The villages loving and peaceful residents want Katherine to reopen it, and she finds the reasons hidden among the pages of its books: letters. The villagers use them to confide their troubles, feelings and thoughtsthe things that weigh on their hearts, burden them or make them happyand then hide the letters inside their favourite books and stories. As Katherine reflects on her life so far and struggles to decide whether she can, or even wants to, accept this unusual inheritance, Cadan enters her life. The charming photographer quickly finds his way into her heart, giving Katherine one more reason to settle permanently in Ireland. The contents are in Czech.
