LP Marpo: Making Country Music Cool Again

Singer, rapper and musician Otakar Petina, known as Marpo, releases a limited vinyl edition of Making Country Music Cool Again. Following the country-inspired direction of his previous albums, this is the most mature album he has released so far. The limited edition comprises 300 signed copies. The cover is designed by Tony Koa and the photographs are by Ji Stank. The album is recorded at East Iris Studio in Nashville, with production by Marcus Tran and Clint Murphy. Marpo is joined by fellow artists and friends including RENN DANG, SEBASTIAN, J.J. LAWHORN and MARTINA PRTLOV, as well as Nashville country musicians Jordan Larsen on violin, Jimmy Milton on banjo, Chris Hennessee on harmonica and legendary steel guitarist Eddie Cowboy Long. The combination of these instruments gives the songs their distinctive sound and brings a fresh, cool country sound to the Czech scene.
