This Czech cookbook offers simple sweet and savoury baking, along with plenty of tips for making the work easier. It is intended for anyone who dislikes long ingredient lists, complicated instructions and spending a great deal of time in the kitchen. It includes recipes for celebrations, parties, birthdays and holidays, using few ingredients, no hard-to-find items and minimal effort. You will find no lengthy whisking, rolling, cutting out or assembling, but plenty of ideas for simplifying the baking process. The six chapters cover very quick cakes and tray bakes, recipes that take time but largely bake themselves, savoury inspiration for parties, celebrations including childrens parties, birthdays and Christmas, ways to delegate tasks to children and other helpers, and ideas and shortcuts for making a lot from a little.
