Krsn narozeniny, hodn tst, zdrav! – zvukov knka (2026)

This large concertina board book for children from age one celebrates birthdays in a playful and thoughtful way, combining shared reading, music and the joy of a special occasion. A group of musician friends is invited to an exceptional celebration, and along the way each one plays their part on a musical instrument for a song they perform together for the birthday child. Beautiful illustrations by Nikola Slater, cheerful musical recordings and a light-up surprise at the end delight young birthday girls and boys. The sound buttons respond to a light touch, and the recordings culminate in the whole band playing the birthday song. A candle on the birthday cake lights up on the final page. The Czech-language book has a replaceable battery compartment on the back cover and an on/off switch.
