Kotvy na nebesch – Metafyzick zkladna ivota Brague Rmi (2019)

This Czech-language philosophical work by Rmi Brague challenges the idea that modern people living in a supposedly post-metaphysical age no longer need metaphysics. Brague argues that metaphysics is not a vague superstructure resting on a single foundation of reality accessible through the sciences. Instead, it is essential for people to regard life as good and to want not only to live it, but also to pass it on. In his view, humanity, which can easily destroy itself as a species, can have a future only through an awareness of the strong metaphysical dimension of human life.
