Konec ve naprav Shakespeare William (2026)

This comedy follows Helena, a doctor’s daughter who falls in love with Bertram, but he rejects her because of her low birth. Intelligent and courageous, Helena persistently overcomes every obstacle to win his love. In a play full of dramatic and comic situations, Shakespeare masterfully balances romance with criticism of social conventions. This Czech-language edition presents the story of female strength and ingenuity in Betislav Hodek’s translation.
