Kad veer zavolej mm (2025)

This Czech-language novel is an honest, unsentimental and surprisingly funny story about what happens when you stop waiting for other peoples approval. Eva is fifty, divorced, caring for a mother with Alzheimers, and has a daughter who hates her. Instead of staying and fulfilling what is expected of her, she boards a plane to Mlaga, Spain. She has no plan or certainty, only one suitcase. She rents the smallest studio apartment in the world, decides to live according to her own wishes for the first time, and discovers that freedom hurts in a completely different way from obligation.
