Just Stab Me Now Bearup Jill (2024)

A desperate mother, a dubious escort and a deranged author who refuses to leave them alone come together in this fantasy novel. Caroline Lindley is determined to make her new romance novel her best yet, complete with fantasy, formal gowns, fencing and a young heroine in an enemies-to-lovers plot filled with her favourite tropes. But Lady Rosamund Hawkhurst is a thirty-six-year-old widow with a war to stop and two children to get home to, and she refuses to follow the proper approach to being trapped in the same room with someone. Caroline must also contend with conversations with her editor, whose apparent similarities to Rosamunds hot enemy are suspicious. Based on Jill Bearups popular Fantasy Heroine YouTube Shorts series, this debut novel combines a meta-fictional story with a medieval-inspired fantasy setting as enemies-turned-best-friends Rosamund and Caroline discover what it means to be the hero of your own story. Swords are optional.
