Jsem asi boomer – CD

This CD presents Michal Horks fourth studio album, Jsem asi boomer, following the successful gold-certified album Ideln as se nezblznit from 2023. Its varied, authentic and good-humoured collection moves between different genres and production styles, with guests including Vypsan fiXa, Radza, Slavek, Kato, Gentlemen Singers and Sandra Novkov, each adding their own distinctive colour without losing Horks unified songwriting style. The albums self-ironic title describes an attitude rather than a generation: Hork prefers doing things his own way and slightly old-school, calling instead of texting, avoiding unnecessary anglicisms, wearing unfashionable clothes and recording live instruments. His authenticity, humanity and attention to craftsmanship run throughout the album. The record also reflects his versatility in the online space, including the pre-Christmas a cappella hit Ponoky, which has received several million views on social media. The tracklist includes Jsem asi boomer, Nedlej si nadje, Najde se, Ponoky, Ona to v, To jen kdybys nevdla, Kakao, Skibidi dudily, To se zem, Kde vlastn jsou, Hustej Joe featuring Sandra Novkov, Mezinrodn and the bonus track Cigro, pivo a vechno.
