Jak jsem se (ne)mlil v politice (2026)

In this updated and expanded edition, Milo Zeman openly reflects on his ten years at Prague Castle. Alongside the original text, an extensive exclusive interview and the forceful opening piece A Cannon Shot have been added. With his characteristic frankness, irony and self-irony, Zeman examines his greatest political mistakes and successes, motivations driven by revenge, personnel failures, economic diplomacy, relations with major powers and the contemporary Czech political scene, while warning against attempts to turn the country into a nation of subjects. The book is not merely a memoir, but a provocative reflection by one of the most prominent Czech politicians of the modern era, confident, uncompromising and at times brutally honest.
