This is one of five independent activity books for practising counting in the first stage of primary school. These mini detective stories contain arithmetic puzzles designed to focus attention on memory processes that support learning mathematics, strengthen divergent and creative thinking, and engage children with an appealing story based on riddles and playful learning. Each subsequent volume is slightly more challenging than the previous one, making the books useful for reviewing the curriculum in an entertaining way.
