Hrejme dle aneb jak jsme peili osobn katastrofu Vvra David (2020)

This Czech-language book presents two very different lives connected by a similar personal tragedy. It contains the accounts of two men describing their struggle with sudden illnesses that left them bedridden, as they fight not only to walk again and regain their independence, but also simply to survive. Actor, presenter, musician, screenwriter and teacher Alfred Strejek became ill with GuillainBarr syndrome and, with the help of SILOU HLASU, z.s., wrote his part of the book exclusively using his voice. Architect and actor David Vvra struggled for a long time with the extraordinary consequences of Lyme disease. The stories of both men are complemented by the perspectives of their partners and doctors. Professor Pavel Pafko brought these accounts together, while Nadace ETERNITY helped bring this unique story into book form.
