Hrav esk jazyk 4 – uebnice (nov edice) RVP (2026)

In fourth grade, pupils review and extend the material from third grade, including words with i/y spelling rules and parts of speech. They learn to identify the grammatical categories of nouns and verbs and become familiar with the relatively demanding subject of subjectverb agreement. The curriculum also covers word study, word structure and several simpler forms of composition, such as narrative, dialogue and description. The material is presented in a playful and entertaining way, with explanations and practice supplemented by puzzles, fill-ins and games. The textbook is clearly divided into 10 main topics, each concluding with a review of the material covered. The texts are accompanied by colourful illustrations and photographs, while the children are guided by the familiar characters Ema and Tom. A comprehensive review and a collection of dictation exercises for the entire school year are included at the end. The contents are in Czech and comply with the revised Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
