Hon na ovci Murakami Haruki (2026)

The protagonist of this novel lives a quiet life in Tokyo and co-owns a small advertising agency. Life is slowly passing him by, and he no longer expects much from it. But after his company prints an innocent photograph of a sheep-filled landscape in an advertising leaflet, he finds himself on an unwelcome initiation journey into the heart of darkness of contemporary Japan. An organization unexpectedly seeks him out, and under threat of violence he is forced to travel to Hokkaido, where he must find a mysterious sheep with a star on its back at any cost.
