Hledn odpovdnosti Hvala Karel (2021)

This Czech-language book continues the successful interview volume by Karel Hvala and Ji Pib about searching for history, turning to some of the most pressing questions of the present. The discussion focuses mainly on ethics and morality, the paradoxes of the modern and postmodern world, and the diversity of contemporary societies deeply affected by the pandemic. Clear definitions of basic philosophical and sociological concepts, including culture, social norms and values, accompany reflections on how the state functions, the economic organization of the world, the condition of universities and the media. The discussion can serve as essential reading for anyone who follows the state of todays world with concern but without fear, just as its authors do.
