Happy Street 1 Pracovn seit s poslechovm CD (3rd) Maidment Stella (2016)

Happy Street is a successful English course for children who are ready to begin reading and writing in English. In its textbooks, children enter the wider world of the characters they know from Happy House and also meet their neighbour Greg and his dog Flossy. This workbook contains one page of exercises for each textbook page, interdisciplinary pages using knowledge and skills from other subjects in English, and stories called Colin in Computerland, where children apply what they have learned and reinforce their speaking skills. Pages titled From Reading to Writing give children the opportunity to use the language to talk about themselves. Quizzys questions help children recognise their own progress and record new material. Eight pages of exercises prepare pupils for comparative tests in the fifth grade. The workbook also includes an English-Czech vocabulary and an audio CD with all the songs and stories from Happy Street 1.
