Hana – CD

Hana is Lucie Bls first studio album in four years, created largely in Bratislava with a younger generation of authors and producers rather than relying on adaptations of established international hits. Producer Martin MAXO rmek and his Bratislava production and songwriting team, ubor Priehradnk and Andrej Hruka of Littlebeat, are responsible for the sound of eleven new original songs. The album brings together a range of unexpected collaborators, including Slovak singer Katarna Knechtov, who wrote the title song, Hana, and Celeste Buckingham, whose rap features in the dance track Primadonna. rmek also contributes English vocals to two songs with Lucie Bl, Hrze and Poprv. The lyrics introduce a new generation of Czech popular-music writers, Petr Harazin and tpn Petr of the band Nebe, who wrote almost all of the albums lyrics apart from a few exceptions. The album is introduced by the lead single Tak m tady m and combines a contemporary, adventurous pop sound with Lucie Bls distinctive and assured singing.
