Half City Golden Kate (2026)

Welcome to Harker Academy for Deviant Defense, where your daggers must stay sharp and your wits sharper. Viv Abbot is an ordinary twenty-one-year-old woman living in an expensive city, working long hours at a thankless job and dating a man she does not even like in the hope of winning her prickly mothers approval. She also happens to be a demon hunter. Since her fathers murder, Viv has been forced to hunt deviants alone, leaving everyone, including her family, to see her as an outsider. That changes when she encounters Reid Graveheart, a dangerously alluring demon. The reformed deviant tells her about a school for people like her: Harker Academy for Deviant Defense. There, she can hone her skills, work with other hunters and never be alone again. But Viv has a deadly secret that even her new friends at Harker must not discover, especially as the school may hold the answers to the mystery surrounding her fathers death. When strange events begin to plague the students, Viv must quickly decide whom she can trust while trying to pass her classes, avoid falling for a demon and survive her first year at Harker in one piece.
