Fenomn Jan Kotra Zelinsk Miroslav (2021)

This book, published to mark the 150th anniversary of Jan Kotras birth, is a book to enjoy. It presents a year-long journey through the best-known results of the architects work, with 12 stops in 13 chapters. The focus is not limited to architectural monuments, as Jan Kotra was a versatile creator whose legacy also includes chairs, tables, interior decoration, lighting fixtures, railway vehicles and their interior fittings. Follow the year of Jan Kotra through the illustrations by David Vvra, beginning with a portrait of the young Kotra as a dashing man in a hat, with a curled moustache and, unmistakably, a slightly mischievous look that seems to say, Just wait and see. The book is in Czech.
