Family and Friends 5 Teachers Resource Pack Simmons Naomi

This teachers resource pack supports an exceptionally strong skills-training programme covering language skills, phonics, and civic education. The six-level Family and Friends course offers a fast-paced syllabus and a wide range of optional resources for schools with many teaching hours per week. One third of each unit is devoted to skills training, with a step-by-step approach to writing and early literacy that builds childrens confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. One lesson in six focuses on phonics, helping children recognize and produce English sounds; at levels 13, these lessons are supported by flashcards and additional activities on the Student MultiROM. The civic education syllabus develops good values and behaviour, while the Testing and Evaluation Book and test builder help teachers assess childrens progress. Clear objectives and one lesson per page make the course easy to teach. Additional resources allow teachers to focus on further skills training and adapt the course to different weekly teaching programmes.
