This Czech-language audiobook for children, read by Zdenk Svrk, is a mysterious fairy tale intended to ensure that children are not frightened by its three devils. It tells of people who love one another and almost lose that love: Anikas beloved is taken away for seven years of military service, while a devil falls in love with her and, despite her resistance, marries her. The story also follows two children whose father is cruel and who cannot understand how he became that way. Set at Hakenburk Castle, the tale is sometimes sad and sometimes funny, as life itself can be. The recording includes songs performed by Veronika Khek Kubaov, Igor Orozovi and children, with a bonus central song performed by Marta Kubiov. Zdenk Svrk keeps the ending secret, since revealing that good triumphs would give too much away.
