Dvky z les Kentov Minka (2021)

This Czech-language thriller follows nineteen-year-old Wren and her two sisters, Sage and Evie, who grow up in a cabin far from civilisation in northern New York State. When the youngest, Evie, becomes seriously ill, their mother leaves with her to seek help in a nearby town. They do not return. As the months pass, hope slowly fades, supplies run low and the farm animals die. A merciless winter is approaching. Then a stranger appears, claiming that he is looking for the girls mother and will not leave without them. To escape, Wren and her sister must break the most basic rule of all: they must leave the woods. Will they discover what has been hidden from them, what they are running from and the secrets that have kept them in darkness all their lives?
