Dra nhrdelnk – Hn lid Krlovstv eskho Vondruka Vlastimil (2023)

This Czech-language historical mystery begins during an ostentatious celebration held at his castle by Jaroslav of ternberk, when his beautiful niece Elka, wife of the burgrave of Veve, disappears. The guests mock the incident because Elka is not considered a virtuous wife, but her husband Drslav seeks out Oldich of Chlum and tearfully begs for help, convinced that she has been abducted rather than running away. Soon afterwards, a troubadour who courted Elka the previous evening is found murdered, and society blames Drslav. The case would seem to be an ordinary tale of revenge by a deceived husband, were it not for the evidence Oldich of Chlum discovers among the troubadours belongings, suggesting an affair of the utmost mystery.
