Doteky due Leikert Jozef (2015)

Jozef Leikert, a Slovak poet and author of seven poetry collections as well as a notable writer of factual literature, first introduced himself to Czech poetry readers with the collection Transience. Touches of the Soul presents his characteristically laconic, metaphorically precise and love-toned poetry, touching the most sensitive places in the human spirit. These are poems about love and death, with echoes of the meditative poetry of the East. The poems appear both in their Slovak original and in a congenial Czech translation by Jana troblov. The book includes illustrations by Ji Salajka and has the character of a splendid, almost bibliophile-quality edition.
