Doktor Dokonal Bay Louise (2026)

This Czech-language novel follows a boss, his assistant, a snowstorm and just one bed. They call him Doctor Perfect, but I prefer Doctor Distant, Doctor Arrogant, or simply Doctor If You Want to Fire Me, Do It Now. If I had another choice, I would resign, but I desperately need this job. So when I get the chance to impress him, I do not hesitate to deliver important documents to him myself. Yes, I know he is staying on a remote Scottish island, but I can manage that. Or at least I think I can, until I discover that my ferry back has been cancelled, there is not a single hotel available on the island, and a storm is heading our way. I am stranded in the middle of nowhere with my incredibly handsome boss, who barely knows my name, in a small cottage with one bedroom. Yet while snow falls outside, his icy gaze begins to thaw. And in the end, we do not need a generator to keep warm.
