Djepis 7 pro zkladn koly – Stedovk a ran novovk Vlkov Veronika (2014)

This Czech-language history textbook is the second part of a new four-volume series for teaching history in the second stage of primary school. Following the first volume, which covers prehistory and antiquity, it focuses on the Middle Ages and the early modern period in Czech and world history. The material is clearly divided into core and supplementary content, encourages links between subjects and highlights cross-curricular themes from the Framework Educational Programme. Illustrations, historical visual sources and maps receive particular attention, while the presentation is supported by a detailed, clearly arranged timeline. Chapters include shorter tasks, activity instructions, a summary of the material and final revision exercises. The textbook also lists the key competencies it develops and the expected outcomes describing changes in pupils abilities and skills.
