Discordia: Second Edition (Czech/English Edition) – Strategy Game

In Discordia, you oversee one of the first cities on the Rhine, originally founded as a Roman base guarding the frontier with the Germanic tribes. Develop and defend your city by building farms, barracks, fortifications, ports and markets, trading with ships and making effective use of sailors, soldiers, merchants and farmers. Fulfil decrees, gain privileges and manage your city carefully so that it grows neither too quickly nor too slowly. Empress Agrippina and her son Nero will assess your achievements and reward the most successful governor. The game lasts up to four years, but any player can end it early by finding work for all the potential inhabitants of their city. Discordia is a strategic game combining dice drafting, action selection and a race mechanism. Players do not collect points, but instead optimise the growth of their cities. This second edition includes a double-layered main board, a plastic organiser and further minor adjustments. It is for 14 players aged 14 and over, with rules in Czech and English and language-independent game materials.
