Den pro akala Forsyth Frederick (2025)

Paris, 1963. As every year, the French president Charles de Gaulle attends the magnificent celebrations of Liberation Day. Apart from a few police officers, nobody in the crowd suspects that an inconspicuous man has slipped through the special security measures and is waiting behind one of the heavily guarded windows for the right moment to shoot the president. Can the police discover the professional assassin, hired by the leader of the OAS terrorist organization, in time? This gripping, carefully conceived, and brilliantly written story is one of Frederick Forsyths finest works and a cult classic of the political thriller genre. It has also received a successful film adaptation and, more recently, a television series adaptation.
