Chlapec, kter snil o stavu bezte a jin hry Markmann Thomas (2025)

This Czech-language collection of plays by Thomas Markmann focuses on the lives of ordinary people passing through decisive periods. The dramas explore generational difficulties, failing health, limited finances and, above all, life dreams that remain only dreams when overcome by reality. They include a boy who dreams of becoming an astronaut but must care for his sick and difficult mother after his fathers death, and a conscientious cashier replaced by self-checkout machines.
