Children of Eve Connolly John (2026)

Wyatt Riggins, the boyfriend of rising Maine artist Zetta Nadeau, has disappeared, leaving behind a mobile phone containing a single-word message: RUN. Private investigator Charlie Parker is hired to discover why Riggins fled and whom he is running from. Parker learns that Riggins, a former soldier, was involved in the abduction of four children from Mexico: three girls and a boy. They are supposedly the children of cartel boss Blas Urrea, yet Urreas family is safe and well in Mexico, meaning the abductees cannot be his children. Whoever they are, Urrea wants them returned and has sent his agents to retrieve them, even if it means slaughtering everyone in their way. One of the agents is Eugene Seeley, a clever and ruthless solver of other peoples problems. The other is an unknown woman. Every child has a mother. Now Charlie Parker must face one unlike any other and uncover the terrifying truth about the Children of Eve. The book is in English.
