Cat Lady O’Porter Dawn (2023)

This fresh, funny and emotional novel by Dawn O’Porter follows Mia, a single, independent woman who has carefully built the conventional life others expect of her. She is a good wife to Tristan, a devoted stepmother and a professional who puts on her work suit each morning like a new skin. When a shocking event shatters the life she has constructed, Mia must decide whether to continue living for a society that is quick to judge or start living for herself. If that means becoming an independent woman with a cat, the world will have to get ready. Cat Lady challenges stereotypes, celebrates finding your people and the small things that bring people together, and was a Sunday Times top-ten bestseller.
