Bull Moon Rising Dixon Ruby (2024)

As a Holders daughter, Aspeth Honori understands the importance of magical artifacts, which is why it is disastrous that her father has gambled all of theirs away. Now her family risks losing their holdand their headsif anyone discovers the truth, so Aspeth decides to act. She will join the Royal Artifactual Guild and the adventurers who explore ancient underground ruins to recover coveted arcane items. It is an excellent plan, except for one major problem: the guild will not allow her to train because she is a woman. Aspeth needs a chaperone, and the best solution is to marry someone who will let her become an apprentice. Who better than a surly guild member who needs a favor of his own? He is a minotaur, which is fine, and her teacher, also fine, but he is about to go into rut, which makes things complicated. He also has no idea she is a noble and would want nothing to do with her if he learned her true identity. Aspeth must pass the guild tests, thwart a fortune hunter, save her hold, and survive a rut with her monstrous, horned husband, whom she may be falling in love with. It is time to dig deep, literally.
