Budovatel sttu Zdek Petr (2018)

This Czech-language book presents the life stories of fifty figures who played a decisive role in the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918. Alongside prominent figures such as Tom G. Masaryk, Edvard Bene and Milan R. tefnik, it introduces diplomats Bedich tpnek and Cyrill Duek, MPs Isidor Zahradnk and Jaroslav Budnsk, and Masaryks secretary Jaroslav Csa, among others who are now unjustly forgotten. The book is based on a successful series published in Lidov noviny in 2017 and 2018. Its engaging portraits were written by twenty Czech and international historians under the direction of Petr Zdek.
