This Czech blues album by Bluesberry comes from the Hanspaulka district of Prague and features the bands founder, Petr Petar Introvi, on vocals, guitar, harmonica, accordion and other instruments, alongside guitarist and singer Peter Jurkovi, keyboardist Richard Dvok, bassist Ji Kredba and drummer Jan Hrdlika. Founded in 1971, Bluesberry initially had folk influences, but its witty, ironic Czech lyrics set to blues standards and original songs also proved suited to electric accompaniment. The album, originally released in 1987, presents a distinctive Czech interpretation of the blues, with songs including Stop blues, Blues o rodinn idylce, J mm enskou v Kladn, Emgeton blues and Blues poslednho matche. The original album has been newly remastered and supplemented with printed lyrics, while the CD adds five bonus songs from the period before its release: Na jazzovejch dnech, Co je to blues, Pivoka, Klnovice and Blues mokrch bot.
