Welcome to the wild North, an unexplored, mysterious and dangerous land. When the first people arrived, they believed they had found an untouched paradise, but their settlements gradually transformed the dense forests into sparse clearings, and nature began to defend itself. Fierce, mystical beasts emerged from the darkness, and the settlers called upon experienced hunters to find and destroy them before the creatures did the same to humanity. In this game, the beast uses a movement-card deck to travel through forests, swamps and caves while hiding its tracks from the hunters. A track appears when a hunter reaches a place where the beast was previously present, but its true location is revealed only when the hunter searches the area or the beast attacks an unsuspecting victim. Each hunter has only one chance to search a location per round, so every decision matters. Players perform actions by playing cards from their hands, with a maximum of two cards per round, and hunters and beasts draft the most important cards before each round. The same action cards can be used by either side. Hunters must communicate and work together flawlessly to bring down the beast, while the player controlling the beast must plan carefully and evade them. The game is for 24 players and takes approximately 90 minutes.
